A careful requalification: Art Nouveau meets contemporary functionality and designThe generous architecture of the Palazzo that houses Ersel Bank headquarters, a 1930s building on Via Caradosso in Milan, is revisited by Alfonso Femia's Atelier, a project that has carried out specific actions to harmonize space development and functional enhancement in this location. The project reinvents 20th-century Milan, honoring its history yet triggering a profound and discrete transformation of its layout, its interior areas. Among helicoidal staircases, Art Nouveau stained-glass windows, halls and meeting rooms, the Mimico table and Pola Round chairs, a sign of Crassevig's vocation hovering between different eras, find their ideal setting.
